Fears for motorists in flooded Madeira carpark Funchal, Portugal (AFP) Feb 22, 2010 For more than 30 hours, rescuers have pumped millions of litres of water and mud from an underground car park in Madeira's main town Funchal, fearing motorists were trapped there during flash floods that have devastated the Portuguese island.
