EU doubles firefighting air fleet for 'busy' summer



Brussels (AFP) May 29, 2023
The European Union has doubled to 28 the number of aircraft available to help fight forest fires in the bloc and neighbouring countries, the EU commissioner for crisis management Janez Lenarcic said.
