A landslide at a construction site in Guatemala has killed at least five people, authorities said Saturday.

The tragedy took place Friday in the indigenous town of San Pedro Yepocapa, southwest of the capital, when a wall of earth collapsed on a construction site, killing workers.

The laborers included teenaged bricklayers.

It took several hours to retrieve the bodies from the rubble, officials said.
