Satlynx Deliver Transportable Solutions For European Emergency Services Luxembourg (SPX) Jan 31, 2005 Satlynx and Excelerate Technology, a European Specialist VPN technology manufacturer and service provider, have partnered to provide mobile satellite broadband solutions across Europe. In a mutually beneficial relationship Excelerate will deliver fixed and transportable VSAT services based on the Satlynx service offering across Europe. Satlynx will also offer transportable solutions based on Excelerate�s integrated mobile solution and support service to its own direct customers and will facilitate joint operations between Excelerate and its European wide Value Added Resellers. The transportable VSAT solution is a fully automated two-way broadband Satellite platform based on Satlynx equipment and service combined with C-Com iNetVU controller and Excelerate E2Work VPN technology. The first UK customers to benefit from this partnership include Oxford County Council�s Emergency planning department, Avon Fire Brigade and the West Midlands Fire Brigade who have a number emergency support vehicles and incident command vehicles fitted with mobile VSATs; following closely behind will be Cornwall County Council and an Incident Command Vehicle for Strathclyde fire brigade. Excelerate are part way through a program to convert its existing Police, Government, Health and Education customers to the Satlynx service.
